From St. Thomas to New Orleans, Street Kid Heart turns short-term aid into long-term financial independence.
Who We Are
Founded in St. Thomas in 2018, Street Kids United – Humanities Incorporated was created to relieve hardship, restore dignity, and create pathways out of poverty for unhoused youth, single parents, and isolated individuals.
As our programs grew, we launched Street Kid Heart—our public community impact engine designed to mobilize community support, connect with donors, and anchor our expanding operations in New Orleans. While our name on the ground is Street Kid Heart, our core mission remains unchanged: empowering vulnerable individuals with the tools, job training, and confidence needed to build stable, meaningful futures.
Our Dual-Focus Approach
We recognize that meeting complex community needs requires a dual approach:
Street Kid Heart Enterprise Engine: A network of 16 self-sustaining community businesses—ranging from media production to trade services—that provide hands-on vocational training, workforce experience, and sustainable revenue.
Direct Client Services: On-the-ground crisis response, emergency shelter support, essential aid (food and clothing), and family stabilization for unhoused youth and families.
